Just checkin' in...(and I just realized I have on no makeup...only carmex on my lips...and why does my face look a totally different color than my neck?)
Still a lil' bit swollen and numb in places...but I am still trying to smile in this pic :) I haven't noticed any stitches dissolving either...
The one good thing is that I have been eating pretty good for the past week! Spaghetti, chicken, fish, green beans, eggplant, blueberries, bananas...the list goes on :) I was getting so tired of soups and smoothies!
Just waiting on this gap to start closing some on it's own...

I was eating pretty good too and only after 2 weeks! I guess we sarpe peeps have it easy compared to the others. :D ..and um, are you even swollen?? Your face looks like you hardly have any! You look great for just having surgery and no make-up on!! AGH! That's it.. I'm outa here! hehehe JJ

Well I'll be. Only 14 turns! you lucky ducky! Did you have a gap before this? Gotta love that gap picture! You will one day be looking back at it and just cracking up! I do! I cant wait to watch you progress!

Looks like you are coming along really great! Waiting for the gap to heal can be maddening but it will happen sooner then you think. Overall for just having surgery I think you look fabulous and with no makeup even! Your swelling really is pretty mild.

Did you have to get any pre-authorization from Kaiser before your surgery? How did it all pan out? Did you just have a consult with Dr. Relle and then have the surgery?

No pre-auth required. Just the consult and then they scheduled the surgery. Are you having an issue with them?
No, I haven't heard from them at all since my consult with Dr. Relle, but I was just reading Wired Lady's newest blog and it's regarding issues with them, so I started to freak out a little. :) I'm glad to hear there's nothing to worry about.
Wired Lady doesn't have Kaiser, so no worries. :) I was freaking out for nothing.
Just stopped by to say hello. My SARPE was in June, I still have a tiny triangle gap up toward the gum line but nothing too bad. How is your's looking? I think the picture of you is beautiful, I wish I looked that good without make up.
